At the workshop
Transparent and delicate glass crafts. Above all, Kentaro Yanagi (45), who has a workshop “Atelier Flame” near Inba Marsh in Inzai City, creates a humorous and fun dreaming work. “A work that can be moved” surprises the viewer. “This month will be the first solo exhibition in Chiba Prefecture,” says Yanagi. In October and November, Yanagi is a unique writer who works as a part-time lecturer at Inba marsh.
Established a workshop in 2005, and created various glass crafts using techniques centered on burner work. The works in which a large windmill rotates by the wind, the airplane that moves with a drink instead of the pilot, the glass work with moving limbs in animals, and the work that combines glass intricately entertain what you see.
“Since my father-in-law had the right to fish in Inba, I will continue to fish in October and November,” he says.
